racing
100 laps. NOTE:
In addition to the Heavy and Jr. Restricted classes, we will only be
racing the CHAMP CLASSES ONLY.
On
Friday, July 4th. Payback
will be 100% to top ½ feature
finishers in ALL CLASSES! Entry
fee for the 100 Lap Races is $50.00
The
format for the Jr. Restricted and Heavy classes will be an “on track red flag” PIT STOP at 35 laps and again at 70 laps. During
the
10 minute pit stop you can work on the chassis and engine.
You can let air OUT of any or all of your tires for no penalty.
If
you clean, treat, inflate or change tires you get moved back one position for
each tire you service. A gear
change and any chassis
adjustments
will also cost one position each. Crew
members and drivers have to figure out if the change is worth the penalty. Only
two
(2) crew members may assist the driver on a pit stop. At each pit stop, the
first driver that is one lap down will be awarded the
“lucky
dog” and be
scored on the lead lap. The lucky
dog is also able to make any changes to their kart for no penalties.
